2020학년도 2학기 등록 안내 Tuition payment for the fall semester of 2020

<Tuition payment of the fall semester of 2020>
 
1. Payment period
A. Primary payment period: 2020.08.24(Mon) ~ 08.27(Thu) 16:00 [Issuance of tuition bill : 2020.08.14(Fri)]
B. Secondary payment period : 2020.09.02(Wed) ~ 09.04(Fri) 16:00
 
2. Check and print of tuition bills
A. Portal(https://portal.khu.ac.kr) → 등록/장학 → 등록금부과내역
B. Returning students can check and print tuition bills after approval of return to school.
C. Provide tuition bills to parents
- Click on Parental Service at the bottom of the portal login screen → Enter student number, parents' mobile phone number (only the parent's mobile phone number entered in portal personal information is valid) and request authentication number → Login after entering the authentication number
 
3. How to pay
A. virtual account payment : Transfer to Hana Bank's virtual account number written on the bill
- Each student is given a virtual account number, so the sender does not need to be in the student's name.
B. Internet banking payment : Hana Bank's Internet banking website → utility charges → university tuition fee → Pay after logging in with a public certificate
C. direct payment : Pay at Hana Bank
 
4. Check tuition payment details : Portal → 등록/장학 → 등록금납부내역
A. Registration can be checked within 30 minutes of tuition fee payment
B. Registration is complete if the payment date is specified in the tuition payment details.
C. Inquiries on the issuance of payment certificates: Student Support Center
 
5. Other expenses
A. 자치회비 : student council fee(Inquiries : student council)
B. 동문회입회비 : The fee for the alumni association, paid once in the last semester of the school year (second semester of the fourth grade).
C. 의료보험(medical insurance) : Inquiries-I.S.S.S. office
D. 의료회비(medical membership fee) : Medical treatment/hospitalization support provided by the Student Medical Association. You will receive benefits during the semester you paid, and medical fees will not be carried over to the next semester when you take a leave of absence (Question: Student Medical Association)
 
6. How to deposit tuition fee and other expenses
A. You can make a deposit at once by adding up tuition and other expenses.
B. Other expenses can be paid additionally after tuition fees are paid.
C. Unable to deposit other expenses before tuition
 
7. How to register a full scholarship
A. [portal.khu.ac.kr] → [등록/장학] → [등록금부과내역] → Click on [0원 납부 등록신청](Pay your other expenses to a virtual account)
B. Full scholarship students must register for 0 won. If they do not register for 0 won, they will be expelled from the school without registration. Scholarship for the semester will be canceled.

8. Notes
A. Students who took a leave of absence after registering last semester do not have to go through the registration process this semester
B. Those who take a leave of absence after registration within 21 days of the start of the semester can carry forward the school's scholarship and tuition to the return semester. However, when a scholarship recipient refunds tuition fees, he/she shall fully return the scholarship.
C. When a recipient of a outside scholarship takes a leave of absence, the returning the scholarship vary depending on the foundation of the scholarship, so please contact the Student Support Center (Scholarship) and pay tuition from the start date of the semester to the date of leave or dropout.
D. When the amount of initial tuition changes due to scholarship, etc., registration may not be possible, so please contact the academic support team.

2. Check and print of tuition bills
A. Portal(https://portal.khu.ac.kr) → 등록/장학 → 등록금부과내역
B. Returning students can check and print tuition bills after approval of return to school.

5. Guidelines for students who delay graduation
A. Tuition fees will be finalized based on final credits after the course correction period.
B. As those who are deferred from graduation will be required to pay tuition per credit, be careful when applying for classes.
C. When you acquire credit without applying for courses, you have to register per credit. Requests to change the tuition fee to the Bachelor's Support Team, issues a tuition bill and pay (all credits available are included in the class credit).
(Register per credit even if you get credits through credit exchange, volunteering, job-related lectures, field training, etc.)
D. If you withdraw courses you applied for during the course withdrawal period, please note that the credits of the classes you withdrew will be included as the credits for use and tuition will be charged (no refund of tuition fees)

7. Other expenses

<Installment payment for the fall semester of 2020>

1. Application for installment payment : 2020.08.24(Mon) ~ 08.26(Wed) 16:00
※ In the case of those suspended from graduation, the first installment payment must be completed within the first registration period.
 
2. How to apply
가. Students within the available school years(within 8 semesters, for 12 semesters for medical students)
: Portal(https://portal.khu.ac.kr) → 등록/장학(register/scholarship) → 등록금분할납부신청(Application for installment payment)
나. Students delay graduation
: Visit Academic support team (1st floor of the main building) and submit application for installment payment for students suspended from graduation
 
3. Registration period and installment payment type
A. Registration must be completed within the due date of each session
B. You can register until 16:00 on the last day of each period, and you cannot register afterwards.
C. For students within 8 semesters and pay full tuition fee / students delay graduation

7. Those who cannot apply for payment in installments
가. Students who transfer to another major and re-admission students for the fall semester of 2020
나. Those who fail to meet the payment date for each session for the last semester's installment payment
다. Students who pays 1/6 of the tuition fee among those who have suspended graduation.
라. Students whose actual tuition is less than one million won due to scholarship, etc.

8. How to pay tuition and essential expenses (medical insurance) (international students only)
A. Pay at once in addition to tuition fees (unable to pay separately)

9. Other expenses

11. Note
A. The first tuition fee must be paid within the first installment period to be valid in installments. If not paid, it will be changed to full payment.
B. If payment is not made in full by the 5th payment date, he/she will be expelled in accordance with school regulations.
C. You cannot pay tuition on the date of application for installment payment (please pay tuition the next day)
D. For students taking a leave of absence or dropping out, the difference is collected or refunded according to the date of the change in academic records.
E. Students who fail to meet the payment deadline for each installment payment will be restricted from paying in installments next semester.
F. If the payment date for installment payment has expired, payment cannot be made to a virtual account, and you must visit the academic support team
G. Students who pay in installments are not allowed to change payment type after the application period (Seoul Campus)
H. If notice is required regarding payment in installments, it will be sent via the user's mobile phone registered in the portal. Please keep your information safe.
I. Among students who delay graduation, those who apply for classes at least 4 credits can apply for payment in installments.
J. Among students who have delayed graduation, students who apply for payment in installments cannot change the tuition fee due to the correction of courses.
