문화적 공감대와 비슷한 관광 구조와 정책을 가진 이들 섬들을 함께 묶어 공동으로 세계 관광 시장을 개척하고자 제주도에서 설립된 섬관광정책포럼(ITOP; Inter-Island Tourism Policy Forum)에서 각 국의 아름다운 섬의 모습을 전시한 ITOP포럼 특별기획전이 K- Style Hub 문화체험전시관 (한국관광공사 서울센터)에서 진행된다고 하오니 많은 참여 바랍니다.

2018 ITOP Forum Special Exhibition
Inter-Island Tourism Policy Forum (ITOP) is a consultative body of regional local governments co-founded by Jeju, South Korea; Hainan, China; Okinawa, Japan; Bali, Indonesia on July 24th, 1997. Its member regions take turns in hosting an annual meeting. Since the member regions share the geographical nature of the island and the economic structure centered around tourism industry, in-depth discussions on sustainability should be in order to preserve the beauty of islands. Along with showing this collective effort from each region, we also want to share beautiful stories of island and also stories of people inside through this special exhibition. We believe that this exhibition with histories and cultures of these fascinating islands will create resonance which will eventually make you become deeply fond of them. We wish that these islands will be with you from this moment on and someday you will be able to set foot on those beautiful islands.

Our Special Exhibition and Special EVENT!
We’d like to invite all of you to experience splendid culinary culture of member regions though a special cooking class, which is an event program of this ITOP Forum Special Exhibition.
For this time, we chose only 3 countries out of 6 countries which participated in this special exhibition. Those three countries are Japan, Thailand, and Tanzania.
So, you can cook foreign dish by yourself with professional chef, and also you can get to know the interesting story behind the dish. Through each cooking class, you will be able to experience Korean culinary culture, while a Korean chef briefly demonstrates how to cook Korean dish with the same ingredient as theirs, before you start your cooking. So, you can find the similarity and differences between two countries!

Assorted shrimp and vegetables with Mustard Sauce (Saewoogyeojachae) & Coconut Curry with Shrimp (Kamba wa nazi)
We kindly announce that each class has only first 30 people. (Half Korean and half Foreigners, People from member regions will be given preference.)
