2018 Seoul Global Center Business Fair
The Seoul Global Center is hosting its annual Business Fair event for expat entrepreneurs to provide
an opportunity to promote their businesses and receive advice and guidance from investment and
funding experts.
It will also be a meet-and-mingle network event to seek collaboration between local and
international companies and related organizations in the startup community in Seoul.

1. Event Overview
□ Date & Time: June 12(Tue.), 2018 / 12-4PM (※Participants should arrive at least 30 min. before the event starts.)
□ Place: 4F COEX, Conference Room #402 (Samseong Station, Lines 2 & 9)
□ Participants: local and international companies
□ Main programs: company promotion to visitors / on-site meetings with local and international companies / accelerator/VC consultation (upon request) / networking with entrepreneur support organizations, etc
2. Recruitment of participating companies
□ Capacity: about 15 international companies
□ Admission: free of charge
□ Selection Criteria
• Eligibility: Those who have their businesses registered as of application date; and those who have set up a business through participation in the Seoul Global Center’s support programs including Consultation, Incubation Office, Education courses or networking events.
• Types of business: There’s no limit to business types, however, preference may be given to those who are able to display tangible and physical products and items (i.e. miniature or full-sized) for the purpose of the promotion; or present interactive and participatory services or activities for participants to experience at the venue (Cooking on the spot not allowed)
3. Application
□ Application period: ~ 6PM on April 15(Sun.) 2018
□ Result announcement: Apr. 20(Fri.) (Results will be notified individually)
※Selection will be determined by evaluating the application whether it meets the purpose and the objectives of the event.
※The above schedule is subject to change without notice.
□ Required documents
•(Mandatory) Application form (download), a copy of business registration
•(Optional) Company profile; promotional materials (i.e. video, photos), if applicable (※may be displayed at the venue.)

4. Booth information
□ Booth size: approx. 2m x 2m (※One booth per exhibitor (more details to be announced))
□ Regulations of participation
•The organizer shall decide a booth position based on the nature of exhibits and capacity.
•The organizer shall reserve the right to order discontinue, demolish, and eject exhibition and any exhibition items in a case where any exhibitor engages in display of items different from what are stated in the application form.
•The exhibitor must exhibit items as prescribed in its application form and manage the assigned booth by dispatching staff during the fair.
•The exhibitor shall display promotional materials (i.e. brochures, posters, banners) only in designated areas.
•The exhibitor shall not be allowed to withdraw any exhibition items ahead of the closing of the fair.
•The exhibitor shall not transfer the whole or part of assigned exhibition space to the third party without any written consent of the organizer.
•No withdrawal or cancellation is allowed after submitting the application and participation is confirmed unless a written proof of inevitable circumstances (doctor’s note, police reports, etc)
•If the exhibitor has to cancel their participation due to a valid reason, he/she should inform the organizer of cancelation at least 7 days prior to the event in writing and cooperate with the organizer to find a replacement for the smooth running of the event.
•For matching result analysis, an interpreter will be present at each table and the exhibitor shall cooperative with the interpreter who will collect brief meeting information at the venue.
※Once the attendance is confirmed, no cancellation is allowed without a valid reason.
Cancellation without notice or no show can prevent the applicant from signing up for future events organized by the Centers.

매년 외국인 창업기업 비즈니스 페어를 개최하고 있습니다. 올해에는 내외국기업 참관객은 물론 주한외
국상무관, 엑셀러레이터 등 창업기업 지원 유관기관과의 협업 모색을 위한 네트워킹의 자리로 꾸며질 예
정이오니 여러분의 많은 관심과 참여 바랍니다.

□ 일 시 : 2018. 6.12(화) / 12-4PM (참석자는 행사 시작 최소 30분전까지 행사장 도착)
□ 장 소 : 코엑스 4층, 컨퍼런스룸 402호 (지하철 2, 9호선, 삼성역)
□ 참가자 : 외국인 창업기업 및 내외국기업 관계자
□ 주요행사 : 참관객 대상 기업 홍보 / 투자,펀딩 전문가(액셀러레이터, VC등) 컨설팅 (신청자에 한함) /
창업지원기관과의 네트워킹 / 기업 간 협업 모색 네트워킹 등
2. 참가신청
□ 대 상: 외국인 기업 15개사 내외
□ 참가비: 무료
□ 선발기준
•자격: 지원일 기준 사업자등록 완료하고 서울글로벌센터의 지원을 통해 창업한 외국인 기업
(서울글로벌센터 지원 – 컨설팅(상담), 교육 프로그램 (예. 창업대학, 무역아카데미) 인큐베이션오피스, 네트워킹 이벤트 등)
•업종: (기본적으로 업종제한은 없으나,) 사업의 효과적 홍보를 위해 전시가능 실물(또는 모형)제품 보유기업; 참관객이 현장에서 직접 경험할 수 있는 기술∙서비스, 제품 혹은 체험형 인터랙티브 컨텐츠 전시운영이 가능한 업체, 국내 중소기업과의 매칭 및 협업가능 업체를 우선 선발함(현장에서 조리 등 금지)
3. 접수 방법
□ 접수기간: ~6PM, 4.15(일), 2018
□ 결과발표: 2018. 4. 20(금)이메일로 개별통지)
※행사의 목적과 취지에 부합하는지 신청서 검토 후 선발.
※상기 일정은 센터사정에 따라 예고없이 변경될 수 있음
□ 제출 서류
•(필수서류): 신청서(다운로드), 사업자등록증 사본
•(선택서류): 기업(혹은 브랜드)소개, 홍보자료(비디오, 사진 등) – 해당자에 한해 (본 자료는 행사장내에 표출될 수도 있습니다)

4. 부스 안내
□ 부스 크기: 약 2m x 2m ※각 참가기업당 1개 독립부스를 원칙으로 함 (자세한 내용은 추후 공지)
□ 참가 규정
•부스위치는 업체품목 및 동선 수량 등을 고려해 주최측에서 배정한다.
•신청서에 기재된 제품과 상이한 제품을 전시할 경우, 주최자는 참가부스를 철거하거나 참가자는 강제퇴장 될 수 있다.
•반드시 신청서에 기재한대로 전시 및 홍보활동을 수행하며, 행사시간 내 해당부스에 상주하며 프로모션 활동을 성실히 수행할 것을 원칙으로 한다.
•참가자는 행사종료 전 임의대로 전시물품을 부스에서 철수할 수 없다.
•참가자는 주최자의 동의 없이 제3자에게 부스 전체 혹은 일부를 양도할 수 없음.
•신청서 제출 후 참석이 확정된 참석자는 천재지변이나 질병, 기타 이에 준하는 부득이한 상항 등 증빙제출이 가능한 정당한 사유 없이는 참석을 취소할 수 없다. ((병원 진단서, 경찰확인서 등)
•만약 정당한 사유로 불가피하게 참가취소를 해야 하는 경우, 최소 행사 7일 전까지 주최측에 서면으로 통지하고 대리참석기업 확보에 협조하도록 한다.
•행사 결과 분석을 위해 모든 기업 부스 별로 통역사가 배치된다. 참가자는 행사 중 통역사의 간략한 미팅 정보 수집에 협조해야 한다.
※참가가 확정된 후에는 정당한 사유 없이 참가취소 불가.
※정당한 사유 없이 일방적 참가취소/불참 시 향후 행사 불이익 발생가능.
※위 일정은 센터 사정에 따라 사전 고지 없이 변경될 수 있습니다.
